Deep in the throes of creativity! I've got a full-sized furry novel out soon. And then there's the pick-up stories for The Milkshake Club, already posted. Then after that... there's a Milkshake Club novel coming.

*giggle* I'd been trying to imagine up a flavor for me ever since I read it, but then the Starfruit just made sense for a mystical foxie.

I somehow imagine traveling to another universe, using my shapeshifting abilities to infiltrate normal society by being adopted and raised, then starting a Milkshake Club when I reach junior-high apparent age, based on having read your story decades (or centuries) before...then returning several years later, to find that I have become a mystical legend among the students, which ironically comes closer to my actual character (only once have I traveled between universes by high technology as opposed to magic...if I get inspired to write a story around that offhand comment, I will) than the "perfectly normal foxboy" image I put forth in order to experience that universe.

    Erm...

    *blush*

I have a question, Boxed Lunch, the ending made little sense to me... maybe it could be explained a little clearer here or in email?

The ending of Boxed Lunch is supposed to be strange and vague. OMGWTFLOLRZ teh ghost!

It does help if you read the ending from Zeke's POV, paying attention to his words rather than the emotional armageddon that's happening around the furs themselves. It's a difficult place in the story for lots of reasons, and about half my readers are following Aaron at that point. The tale has shifted modes by then and is pointing up what part 2 will be like. So it's not a 'good ending', standalone - it's the kind you've got to think about it after you close the book, not usually the sort that follows a yiffy.

But I hope you enjoyed it, and press on to part 2, wherein everything grows clearer.

I have to say the ending of Part two was significantly better. The only problem was the whole "Ghost dad" thing was... well... no offense, really, just kinda corny. The whole story thing was dark and the entire series seemed a lot more drama than yiff. Hehe.

I will reread the last so much from Zeke's POV

Yeah, Ghost Dad does go over the top. But I needed it for the metaphysical stuff. As I was writing, I kept thinking of Tales of the L33t, and Hamlet, and that scene in the Flash movie where Ghost Dad appears and Unchained Melody from the Whoopie Goldberg movie starts playing.

Now that I think about it, I'm surprised I avoided a Hamlet joke in the story.
